I picked up on this through friends in Australia on Facebook. Nike went live on their various Facebook pages last week with an integrated store into all their brand pages (Nike Football, Nike Surfing, Nike Running, etc.).
This is being housed on a custom application within Facebook and the checkout / shopping cart process keeps you within Facebook too which is something you don't see very often. You can also like any of the products which will show on your newsfeed, amplyfying the Nike brand and products. When you authorise the application if prefills your name and additional details to the checkout process. Also when the application loads it personalises it bying saying 'Hello Nicola'.
